If we get two more fights within a year resembling a Dominic Wade seal clubbing, he loses momentum and plays tag along B side to Alvarez. Its one thing to let a match up marinade as long as fighters are building to a climax cleaning out a house, not just marking days off the calendar and playing the fans.
I agree with you, but this fight is never going to get any bigger than it would be right now, which is why it all stinks so much. I do think Lemiuex or Curtis Stevens(assume you meant him) are more or less tailor made for Canelo, though he isn't going to beat them any easier than GGG they could be similar jobs, but does that really matter, or make the fight any bigger? I feel like this is just a way to get out of having to face real challenges and make sure he keeps bringing in money for a while. When have you ever heard of guys verbally agreeing to fight in well over a year, when neither have anything signed currently?
