At this point in the boxing game you could probably get more action betting on IF a fight will take place rather than waiting to bet on the actual fight.

The shame if it is that the broadcast can't be split between two different channels representing the respective promotions so the fans cant dictate to which fighter they prefer the money go to. A side/ b side garbage. A sides fight, b sides stall...

The gall he has to repeat those words about "in Mexico, we don't f*ck around..." Whatever, STFU idiot. Yanno I gave this @$$hole credit and said it must be golden Boy keeping the fight from happening.. I take that back... hes a b*tch... i've no desire to see the fight now. I wanna see him beat down i just don't want to see him paid for it. I'll stream it , watch the replay on HBO and then look for a way to send a check to Golovkin or donate to a boxing charity on his behalf. HBO gets its money through my subscription, Golovkin will get money or at least something he can take a deduction on ... and canelo will get what he deserves.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Alvarez and camp cannot get around this without looking foolish and literally just talking shat. Empty rhetoric and gimmick mismatches and then delay tactics. Now it's also on Golovkin here. He needs to do exact opposite of what Canelo will do next. I doubt Canelo will even risk that mega money vs a Stevenson or Lemieux now. If we get two more fights within a year resembling a Dominic Wade seal clubbing, he loses momentum and plays tag along B side to Alvarez. Its one thing to let a match up marinade as long as fighters are building to a climax cleaning out a house, not just marking days off the calendar and playing the fans.

I agree with you, but this fight is never going to get any bigger than it would be right now, which is why it all stinks so much. I do think Lemiuex or Curtis Stevens(assume you meant him) are more or less tailor made for Canelo, though he isn't going to beat them any easier than GGG they could be similar jobs, but does that really matter, or make the fight any bigger? I feel like this is just a way to get out of having to face real challenges and make sure he keeps bringing in money for a while. When have you ever heard of guys verbally agreeing to fight in well over a year, when neither have anything signed currently?

I don't understand what all the fuss is about, we can leave the fight for another 5 years and then they can get it on.

I mean look how well that worked out for Floyd and Pac Man.

on the serious side though what a pussy flapping little money whore Canelo has proved to be, I used to give him credit when he first came on the scene but he has allowed his career to descend into a farce

They are just trying to carry on conning the public and hope GGG gets old. I think he will get his Lacy'ing in due course.
