I'm not using it as an excuse & I don't think others are either. It is something that needs to be taken into consideration tho. Just like how Brook looks after his injury & how he is after the GGG loss. It's not an excuse but a reality. Brook may come in unaffected & near 100% but we won't know until the fight. I would have thought a boxing forum would be the perfect place to discuss such possibilities.
Perhaps you and others don't know what excuse means? There is absolutely nothing in the word excuse that means it is not reality.
You are trying to imply the posters are trying to use it to justify a poor performance. While we are trying to discuss whether or not it will play a factor. It matters little in the outcome because Brook has accepted the weight so win or lose there are no excuses one you enter the ring. Brook may well look like sh*t and be weight drained on fight night. No excuses just a possibility.
