Am I right in thinking that after voting to exit, a law says you are still in?

We are still in but triggered article 50 so will leave and negotiating the divorce settlement.

It will happen because if it does not the politicians have lied to us.

And politicians would lie to you.

If the politicians do not provide a Brexit of any kind, soft or hard, then voting has no value and it would undermine everything they stand for and would make democracy a sham.
