If the politicians do not provide a Brexit of any kind, soft or hard, then voting has no value and it would undermine everything they stand for and would make democracy a sham.

...which is one of the reasons why some Americans (and others) are paying close attention to this issue in your politics.

Much like your muppet of a President that calls the EU one of Americas foes one day and then great friends on another day.
