Actually Henry Tillman eliminated Mike Tyson. Tillman beat Mike TWICE in the amateurs.....only to go on to get WHUPPED by Tyson in 1 round in the pros.

Actually the Amatuer scoring methods have improved a lot but either way it is effective it teachs a fighter something...The clean punch scoring is better than agressor, ring generalship ect crap.....It helps eliminate many of the hometown decision losses ( except when it is very close) It also makes a guy fight and not go for the one punch knockout scoring.....Makes fighters more well rounded...Offense and defense...My guys hav3e been on the short end a few times in the Amatuers not saying it doesn't happen but It is more for the better than worse..









yeah...the scoring is better.....but the promoters of the amateur fights are less than horrendous!!!! They purposely try to get mismatches for the home guys...I know you want the Home boy to win but it is not ethical and shows horrible sportsmanship...which is why I don't let my fighters fight in St. Louis anymore...
