Manny's to be admired, simply for being able to perform at such high levels in a sport that typically demands much more youth.

The closest example I can think of is Tom Brady, quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL. Although football is not to be compared with boxing, it's still a physically and mentally taxing sport... and for a position such as quarterback even more so. Brady's 44, and has fans shaking their heads in disbelief that someone that old is QB for the reigning Super Bowl champions... and that he has excelled throughout his football career.

I'm a Brady fan, and I'm also a Manny fan. To me, he's a genuinely nice guy, and a wonderful ambassador to the sport. He'll be missed when he's gone.
