hows it going james thomas? it depends like do you mean for training? cuz im 16 and for training right now i use 16oz gloves but when i get the money will move up to 18 or 20 oz gloves. or do you mean for fights cuz there i think you would use lighter gloves 10oz or 12oz maybe even 8 but don't qoute me on the fight ones still figuring that part out. but good luck
