Reading through the posts on this forum, I noticed that many people don't like the parry system due to it being unrealistic. I personally use the parry to win my online fights (doesn't everybody?) but as a boxing fan, I also feel it's unrealistic. I don't know how we could get the messege to EA Sports on how to improve on this aspect of an amazing game but I do have some ideas on how we can add a better sense of realism without totally abandoning the chance to pounce on an opponent who you can read (the advantage of the parry system).

INSTEAD OF THE PARRY SYSTEM...

...when the boxers both decide to throw similar punches (haymaker, special punches, uppercuts) the one who lands the punch first should momentarily have their opponent stunned and have them open for punishment.

...while using the same configuration system to perform a parry have the boxer slip or dodge the punch leaving the opponent open for a counter.

...clean punches aren't awarded much in the game as well. If i work an opponents body throughout the match and have him guard his body at all times and I throw a lovely haymaker to the head and catch him nowhere near having his guard up top, he should be momentarily stunned and left open for more shots.

FEINTS
I love the idea of feint punches. There are times during a fight where I utilize my jab the entire time and eventually my opponent catches on and starts to parry that area. I would always think to myself, "If i could feint the jab, i would so throw my cross and catch this guy off guard."

TRAINERS, CUTMEN, ASSISTANTS, AND REFEREES
I think actual trainers should be included in the game like Freddie Roach, Emmanuel Steward, Buddy McGirt, etc. Also, during the middle of the rounds where we have the chance to repair our fighters, they should show a further view of the corner where we can see the trainer barking orders and the cutmen and assistants working on the fighter.

They should physically add the referee in the ring with the figthers.

I know this concept of trainers, cutmen, assistants, and the ref won't improve gameplay, but it would be eye candy for the gamer. Now that these next generation systems are showing how amazing they are, this can easily be possible.

These are just some ideas. If anyone has other ideas or if anyone knows how to get the messege across to the people at EA Sports I would love any help possible.
