Not sure if is this will help much but I went to BIG 5 (a sporting goods store) and Everlast golves that are normally 35 dlls. are on Special right now for only 25 dlls.

I bought me 2 pairs, not for training but I'm taking 1 pair tommorrow to the Williams fight in hopes that I meet some legendary fighter and have him sign it.
