What's your budget? I've been looking at getting new gloves too. People here have basically said that some are against Cleto Reyes for sparring but they last longer, are a good fit for your wrists and hands and better quality than anything else on the market.
I have to wait until I get paid then I'm gonna order some because my gloves are dead too! I figure they are more expensive but am hoping that they'll last so much longer that per unit time they'll work out cheaper.
Some people are against them for the safety of your partner when sparring but perhaps that's no an issue with what you've listed especially and then it just depends on what you can afford?
Check out other threads on Cleto Reyes and I think I started one on sparring gloves - both reasonably recent threads - all the info is there![]()
Try looking on Ringside Boxing - World class Boxing Gloves, Punching Bags, and Boxing Equipment at discount prices
EDIT : wow, all I typed above was "w w w. r i n g s i d e . com" but it added a huge description in place of my link..
This new forum is possessed with goodies
They have a LOT of different gloves in varying price ranges so you're pretty much gauranteed to find something that suits you... It's really personal taste in the end, but as a general rule, by the best gloves you can afford... If you only had $30 but could strech it out a few weeks and come up with $50 to $60 then do that....
I originally wanted some light gloves like that, but I heard a lot of arguements for buying heavier gloves 14oz to 16oz to train in to improve speed and endurance.... But having 16oz gloves for a while now, I would like to try a lighter pair of gloves for pad work as well...
So good luck!

Not sure if is this will help much but I went to BIG 5 (a sporting goods store) and Everlast golves that are normally 35 dlls. are on Special right now for only 25 dlls.
I bought me 2 pairs, not for training but I'm taking 1 pair tommorrow to the Williams fight in hopes that I meet some legendary fighter and have him sign it.![]()
cheers for the help, im not really on a budget but will av to wait a while longer the more expensive the gloves.
