Witter has been chasing Hatton for the past EIGHT years (long before they were "world" champs). Hatton is Witter's biggest MONEY fight by MILES. They are ranked no.1 and no.2 in the WORLD at 140. Witter would like the chance to prove himself top man.

Naturally seeing as Paulie/Hatton are tied up for the remainder of the year he'll seek a unification fight.

What's wrong with that?

Your not getting the point so forget it...I am not getting into something that I see is going off the track....

Malignaggi is as available as Hatton is....Hatton keeps saying no...Witter wants to prove he is the best 140lb fighter in the world....The fight any of the champions...Paulies name was left out purposley...he back peddaled at the mention of Paulie....Has nothing to do with a possible match he may have with Hatton later in the year
Fair enough, I must be missing the point

Although I hope you weren't insinuating Witter is scared of Malignaggi?

Here you go Daxx, this is what Paulie thinks about Witter -

Junior Witter is probably the most dangerous, underrated, unappreciated fighter in boxing. I’d love to meet him in the ring but that’s up to the networks. Witter is definitely the best light welterweight in England."

Paulie must think Hatton is EASIER/SAFER than Witter. Fact.

Paulie contadicting himself there

Witter doen't deserve a big fight, who has he beat of a high standard and please don't say Vivian Harris..jesus he has made a career based on Hatton's name and that's were his popularity comes from, it is evident it doen't come from inside the ring as why was the Harris fight staged in the Doncaster Dome LOL.

Ricky Hatton once said:

"If Junior Witter was fighting in my back garden I would draw the curtains" can't say I wouldn't.
