If Hatton were to beat Malignaggi and either Torres or Bradley would you be satisfied?

If he finishes his career beating Malignaggi, Bradley, Torres and Holt would that be considered poor?

That would be a vrey good ending to his career IMO, and he could rightly claim to be one of the best LWW in history, it's what he should do as I can't see another route for him to take without taking on the WWs again.

There's nobody left for him to fight.

He'll have to finish his career with the big names at 140 because thats all he has left to beat.

It's a bit of a quagmire for him to be honest, he has many fight options but it's impossible to say which route would be best for his legacy. I always felt he never cleaned out the division like he should have, yet the guys there at the moment aren't that great, with Witter out of the way and if he beats Paulie, fighting Torres and Kotelnik won't add much to that. Fighting the guys coming up like Pacman will make for an occasion, but won't add much to his legacy, unless Khan somehow dominates quickly and Hatton hangs around for him to genuinely come up in weight.

The other alternative is to take a fight he has a small chance of winning, some boxers do that, perhaps aim for someone like Cotto. Though I'm mostly against it, from Hatton's point of view beating the only man he has lost to does make sense legacy wise, but from a fans perspective he should really earn that 2nd shot by making a genuine statement (against a highly regarded WW) rather than beating a shot lightweight followed be a decentish LWW titleholder. If he wants to be remembered as a p4p great of this era (another thing he seems obsessed with), he needs to do great things, not just take the fights he's expected to win.
