WBC super bantamweight champion Celestino "Pelenchin" Caballero (29-2-1, 19 KOs) retained his title with a twelfth round TKO over former WBA flyweight champon Lorenzo Parra (28-2, 18 KOs) on Saturday night at the Domo de Ciudad Ol�*mpica in San Juan de los Morros, Venezuela headlining the 18th edition of the "WBA - KO to Drugs Festival." Parra had some good moments early, but the nearly six-foot Caballero eventually wore down the smaller fighter and at the beginning of the twelfth round, referee Luis Pabon stopped the fight on the advice of the ring doctor due to a possible fractured jaw suffered by Parra. It was Caballero's fourth successful defense.
