There is some truth in Rahman's words. IMO Haye is taleneted and can do things in the division, but he's cetainly looking for the easy way.
When he says he can KO Wlad I believe him, but he wants that shot with as little resistance as possible. He doesn't want to fight all comers and prove his mettle against all styles, certain styles he ain't comfortable with.
It's one big problem with boxing today and thats people expecting title shots after one fight against a hand picked 'top 10' opponent. It shouldn't be a question of Rahman OR Toney OR Sprott OR Maskaev, plenty of time will have past since his final fight at cruiser and end of spring 2009 for him to have fought the lot, and if he truly believed in his talent ((and wanted to prepare himself against a variety of Heavy's too be able to reign for a time afterwards) these fights would have happened, or at least against simlar names in the top 25.
Holyfield was truly the undisputed cruiser champ (no cunninghams in his closet), yet he fought 6 times at heavy before his shot.
