I will also point out thus far their are 24 people on this forum who really need to watch boxing more or get off Pavliks nuts.

Fighting Hopkins at 170lbs may well be too much for Kelly to prodict a stoppage is 1, Brave or 2, Foolhardy.

Ya Shizz?
That might be one of the most ironic things I've ever read on here. I needed a good laugh today, thanks for that.

Part of me wants Pavlik to lose because a % of his following is blindly insane. The other part wants him to win so Joe gets him and really tears him up.

Either way i want an end to this Pavlik lunacy its worse than Cottos fans were 2-3yrs ago and over taken Pacquiaos nuts.

Its a shame as a lot of Pavliks fans are knowledgeable and objective.
Listen. Pavlik's following is deserved. His punches pack a wallop. His defense is porous. He is an action fighter. He brings the fight to his opponent. He has a KO rate of 90%. All this makes for fan friendly fights. Name the last Pavlik fight that didn't entertain you? I guess the one-sided beat-down of Enzo's boy wasn't much of a contest, but I think arguing it wasn't entertaining would be going too far. All this and the guy is only 26. He took on Jermain Taylor when he was 25.

Are his abilities overrated? Possibly. It is undisputed that he is a one dimensional fighter, but so far it has worked.

Bernard will be a big test for Kelly. If Kelly beats down Bernard, doing what Calzaghe couldn't do, then I think not only does Kelly deserve his following, but he isn't overrated as a fighter either. Granted, I don't think that will happen.

I agree Calzaghe should be favored if Kelly and Joe were to meet next year. I don't think Joe wants any part of Kelly because the risk/reward ratio. Kelly doesn't have the Hopkins RJJ name, and he is more likely to knock you out.
