Pavlik just needs to deal with the fact that he got beaten by a clever and good fighter at LH. Pavlik never was or will be a LH and should clean up at 160 then move up to 168.

Fighters jumping weights early in their careers before cleaning up there division is silly, and he should have had a warm up fight at 170 1st
He had no real need to fight Hopkins anyway. I was surprised when I first heard about the Hopkins: Pavlik matchup TBH. I felt the same about the Winky: BHop fight too. The weight just made it seem somewhat absurd. Pavlik and Winky are not LHW's.

Not that Im making excuses for Pavlik because Hopkins is clearly the better fighter.
