Pavlik wanted to make as much money as he could, thus he agreed to move up in weight to fight Hopkins. B-Hop took him to school, winning every round in one of the most impressive performances I have ever seen, now he should have to make concessions to fight a rematch? It doesn't make any sense. A rematch should be out of the question at any weight, the only thing Hopkins didn't do to Pavlik was stop him. If you're a fan of his, you should want him to stay far away from B-Hop.
why would hopkins want a rematch
CHF, Nice sig BTW

And if that doesn't work, my grandmother adds..."Hey Kelly. I am 68 and have a pin in my hip. I too have better lateral movement then you. We hope you'll consider working on that."
Thank you.
The difference is Hopkins was calling out Roy seven years after the first fight and was clearly a much improved fighter with a solid chance to win. Pavlik needs to reestablish himself and show some improvement before a rematch is palatable. And, of course, by that time Hopkins will probably be retired.
Pavlik is in no position to ask to even carry Bernard's spit bucket.
Even if Hopkins could still make 160, why would he need to take that fight? He dominated the first go-round. Pavlik doesn't deserve a rematch and Hopkins has nothing to gain from giving him one.
Bad Idea.Hopkins is the shot caller and I Just can not see anything Pavlik can do to reverse things, not a chance.Pavlik should go after a guy like Marco A. Rubio....David Lopez.Ranked guys but at 160 he would fair well, get his shine & confidence back.
Forget alllllllll about Hopkins.Leave that alone Kelly.
I like Kelly Pavlik. I am a fan.
Seeing as you speak to him, I would like for you to give him some incentive via a word or two, as I'd like to see him do better. You tell him I said, "Hey Kelly. I am 14 years old and have better lateral movement then you. Please work on that."
Thank you.
