Calzaghe isn't exactly an HBO cash-cow either, the Calzaghe - Kessler fight had low numbers and it was on free HBO.

I imagine the Calzaghe-Jones fight did ok, but I'd wager that had much more to do with RJJ than JC.
Mate you're missing my point. Yes Calzaghe wont do great numbers in America. The reason HBO didn't mention a Hopkins-Calzaghe rematch is because it wouldn't do great numbers. The first fight was shit. Calzaghe will never do great numbers in America being a Brit. Hopkins-Pavlik just spectacularly FAILED on PPV. Hopkins doesn't sell.

If they WANTED Hopkins-Calzaghe 2 they would put up enough CASH to make it happen.. they wont
I haven't done any research on this, but if you have fast access to the numbers, have there been any fights recently that did great PPV numbers in the US, besides DLH or Floyd? What about Pacquaio? Point being I'd be surprised if Hopkins numbers were significantly lower than many other champions, for PPV buys in the US.
