I think a second fight will be more exciting. Not an exciting fight, but just more than the last one.

I think between Hopkins and Calzaghe, Hopkins will come into a rematch with a better gameplan. The thing is, Calzaghe will most likely spoil the gameplan. I would like to see a second go round. It was a close fight and Hopkins let Joe take the fight from him. Would B-Hop not let it happen again?

The biggest point is the build up to the re-match (if it happens, and I for one don't want it to happen) will be more eventful than the fight itself. The first fight was dull as dishwater.

I should imagine it would be the last on the list of options for Calzaghe.

Beating up a bloke who was fighting 2 weights above his normal level, wasn't exactly mind blowingly impressive. Hopkins even said himself that Pavlik was a middleweight.

I don't disagree with any of that, I just think it's unfair to single out Hopkins as the sole reason HBO would not want a 2nd fight. Both fighers are underwhelming draws in the States. I don't think is has much to do with Calzaghe being a Brit, I think it's more a combination of factors.
