If you hit it you'd be pulled forewards but to avoid getting hit with the back swing you'd have to move in a balanced way with the movement of the bag. You could not allow it to pull you off balance because then you could not move again when you needed to as it swang back.
I guess i like this idea because i think my in and out movement is ok but i will oftenmove too far out and then have to work getting back in again.
I think this would be good for learning to move while at close range which is difficult to force yourself to train sometimes.
