Why are you comparing what Haye has done? Gomez has his shot with one of the brothers, I am sayign taht Haye shouldn't get that yet. I am not denying that Gomez has been in the division longer than Haye, I am just saying he is not a good stepping stone for Haye because most people have either forgotten about him at cruiserweight or never heard of him. I'm comparing what he's done cuz you keep saying what Gomez has done. Like if Haye has done so much. Gomez and Haye are very similar. Both are former Cruiserweights who are now Heavyweights. Both to me are undeserving (Haye more so) of a title shot. They think otherwise. I say let them fight to see who's more deserving. You say Gomez is unknown and unheard of. Gomez is only unheard of to muthafukkas like you. But that's not surprising. If fighters ain't name Tyson or De La Hoya your ass is clueless about them. That is why the whole point of this thread is these are these guys I feel would not only get him ready and deserving of that shot, but also we can see if he can cope with these guys on a similar level with the brothers, and just how hard he actually hits. The problem is you got Haye facing McCline a career underachiever who gasses out after 4 rounds and fights nothing like the Klitschkos. Brock a guy who will never fight again. And Peter a fighter who quit in his last fight. If Peter couldn't connect against Vitali what makes you think he can connect against Haye? In my opinion all 3 are past tense fighter. There done. Fighting them means nothing. Gomez on the other hand is similar to Haye. Is he better than Haye? Maybe. Maybe not. Like Haye he to is underserving. All I'm saying is let them fight to see who's better and more deserving. You want to argue against that go ahead. I think Haye-Gomez is more intriging than Haye-McCline/Brock/Peter.
