I think you'll find MANY British guys, true boxing fans, not just hatton fans, would like to attend this event live.. having the fight in Vegas means traipsing around the world, costing fortunes, so impossible.

The true fan misses out.
It makes it more difficult. However, Hatton fans will go anywhere to support him. In his most recent right against Malignaggi, in Vegas, Hatton a Brit, had by far the edge in crowd support.

Having the fight in Vegas may sell more tickets to the Philipinos and Mexican fans of Pacquiao. Then again, not sure it would trump how many tickets Hatton v. Pacquiao would sell in London.
Hatton has the biggest fan support in boxing, for sure. Not just the travellers, his fight with Floyd did over a million PPV buys in Britain alone.

If the fight happened in London/England/Britain it would do HUGE ticket numbers.. numbers that would piss all over the 15,000 Vegas casino numbers.

Pac, and his people, probably wouldn't fancy facing Hatton with a 60,000+ pro Hatton crowd though, unless the money was astronomical... that's why Arum is already making excuses.
