What the hell does the phrase "excellent punchers chance" even mean?

A good chance of winning perhaps?

I tell you what it means........it means nothing. The whole idea of a punchers chance is that a person has a very slim chance of winning because of a stray punch actually connecting.

People want to surround themselves with vagueness....and it is simply not the proper way to communicate to anyone.
