Not possible. With each Pac win comes criticism.

i think they should have just fought at 147. But then the same people here will be complaining the guy would still be weight drain because of his lifestyle. See all the excuses why Ricky Hatton was knocked out, because Hatton was weight drain at 140, because of lifestyle.

If I remember correctly, you started a thread about that statement and you were the only one who believed that.

Hatton was knocked out cause HE LET PAC hit him! No head movement, chin up in the air, what did you expect to happen?

I think the only way Cotto wins this if he is effective with his jab. If he lands it I think it will make Pac think before coming in and may knock him down

As far as some people talking about Cotto's chin, I am just not buying that, he is durable. He took some bombs from Margarito and was not knocked down, took a knee but he took some punishment and who knows if the gloves were loaded which makes it more impressive.

I could stir the pot a bit and say if Pac frustrates him he could do what he did in the Judah fight and throw some low shots, that'd slow him down

My guess is Pac takes this by late stoppage due to cuts maybe 10th or 11th.

I'm thinking the handspeed and straight punching can do some damage,re-open that nasty gash?I don't see Cotto getting knocked out though.I really dont think the weight on these two will be a huge factor and feel confident in saying...with respect to Hatton and Oscar....Manny will face more adversity and a deeper gut check in 2 rounds with Cotto that he has faced over his last 18+ rounds combined.I just see to many patterns from Cotto over last few but should be an outstanding fight,no doubt about it!

No doubt! Pac hasn't faced any adversity in the ring since his second fight with Marquez. The hardest moment he's faced since then was the critics saying he was going to get sparked by De La Hoya.

I really think this is a dangerous fight for Manny. Cotto is bigger and he isn't a one dimensional brawler. Cotto has boxing skills and can bang with the best of 'em. His jab is underrated and if he traps Manny, Cotto strings punches together as good as anyone.

This fight is a toss up IMO.
