All I can say is STYLES MAKE FIGHTS and if Floyd had trouble with De la Hoya and he couldn't stop Zab Judah or Marquez then he's not going to hurt Shane. Shane has fast hands, he's strong, and he's got a great chin. I just don't thin Floyd has the style to bother Shane, he's not tall, he doesn't use a conventional 1-2, his defense and counterpunching are great but that alone won't get him a win over Shane.
I see where you're coming from, but IMO Shane's only chance is if what Floyds detractors say are true and that he cant handle a 'proper sized strong welter', and crumbles under sheer strength. If he can then thats one less thing people can say baout him.

Alot of people quote stuff like speed and power as if they can be quantified like in a video game, Shane still has some power but only when hi winds up noadays, and wont land those shots often enough to hurt Floyd IMO.

Another 'attribute' where a lot of people gigve credit for in Shane is his Stamina. He's shown heart and guts to dig deep late in rounds recently against Mayorga and Cotto. While he gave a lot of heat in those rounds he was winging away really unlike when Floyd is forced to the later rounds still has is balance and composure intact.

I'm goin for Floyd comfortably, maybe not causing too much damage cos lets face it even when he has a man beat like Marquez or Baldomir he doesn't go for the kill, which is less likely against a pumcher.
