Meeting the girlfriend's family for the first time

I've been lucky in general with step family except once where both of the girlfriend's parents of the time used to be psychologists. Can you imagine that, I was analyzed all the time. At least, they both said to her that I was the best guy she ever brought home. Still, the Dad was ok the mother was absolutely un-bearable and overly protective.

The irony.

In my defense, apparently that she's been like that with every guy that ever crossed her front porch. Though they both apparently liked me, it was never that fun going to her place.
