Now Fenster is on the money here, the Pac Marg fight won't make a bit of difference to the Haye/Audely fight not one bit.

Haye/Harrison fight had nothing to do with the Pac fight being on the same night at all.

The reason the Haye fight is on the November 13th is because that is the only time before christmas that there is a date available at one of the two big arena's in the uk. MEN and O2. That is the sole reason tht the fight is on this date Greg nothing to do with the Pac fight at all.

Pac Hatton only did 300k on ppv, the Smae Hatton who did 1.4 million v Mayweather. On another note sky havne't even officialy announced the Pac fight is on sky yet have they?

It must be hard for overseas fans to comprehend that worldwide boxing stars are not as big as British fighters here. We pay for Khan-Salita but get Oscar-Floyd free.

Pac-Margarito is FAR more important to the boxing world than Haye-Harrison yet it will be totally overshadowed by the British contest here. It might get a fleeting mention in the sports pages.

I don't think anyone that gives it two seconds thought underestimates British fanaticism.

It's like this - Pac-Margarito happens at 4am UK time and gets zero press coverage. Haye-Harrison happens at 9pm primetime and gets tons of press coverage.

Never said that, I said British are fanatics, never said anything about being more interested Pac/Margarito than Haye/Harrison. I don't think there's anything harsh in what I said at all, or perhaps you don't think British fans are fanatics?

Nothing, Sky bought the rights from Golden Boy for a set fee like they do with all American cards shown on Sky, the numbers of ppv had no reflection on the money sky paid for the fight.

Well as long as ODLH didn't get a cut of that and it didn't effect the amount of money left to pay out the PPV feature fighters you're absolutely right . It is a variable percentage because it is a fixed cost, but it is still a percentage none the less. Hence greater than zero.

But are you trying to be smart there? Of course they got some financial gain from sky showing the fight live, there not going to give it to Sky for free, so if you are trying to correct me for sayin they got nothing then quite a silly question in the first place to think one of the bggest fights of the year would of been without any finances going Golden Boys way.

But Sky have a budget for American cards and it has nothing to do with the PPV, it just made the Khan bill more attractive with it falling on the same night, the two fights could of been on two different nights and the same money would have been paid by Sky to both Khan which would of been PPV and Golden Boy which would of not been on PPV.
