Well it depends where Margarito goes from here. That's why he is very lucky to get this fight with Pacquiao. It's a chance at the beginning of redemption for him. In 10 years the view on Margarito may of softened somewhat, then again it may worsen... It all depends on what he does next. He has time though, that's the important thing.

But Holyfield isn't exactly a hero. I mean, he has his fair share of critics too. Especially when the news first broke!
The only (vital) difference (and part of my argument) between Holyfield and Margarito is that Holyfield hasn't been found guilty of anything. Therefore he is not a cheat. An undeniable fact.

The only real sad thing is; that there probably is a great injustice in all of this because as I said before boxing sucks in updating and enforcing it's anti-doping policies. I could well be agreeing with you if it were for a bit of competence. But it's just not possible.
