Where are the fanbases? It bewilders me, it really does. Okay, not the best location for this fight and it is expensive, but it seems that there are hardly any fans out there.

Not good at all. This will be a quality scrap.
Not really a fair comparison with England being roughly the size of New York. If Hatton fans were Bradley fans driving to Michigan from the California They'd have to drive from England to Turkey.
I am saying that English fans travelled much further than that and in greater numbers. I know things are tough and understand, but less than 500 paying punters is sorely lacking. It's a great matchup, such poor numbers for such an enticing fight.

Good reasons have been given as to why the numbers are so poor, but it's still a poor reflection on the fanbases the two fighters have. They should have more devoted fans than this.
Like I say I honestly think fights like this should be brought over to the uk especially when they both want a neutral venue and this fight would of sold 5-10k tickets easy at the MEN arena, and the atmosphere over here is second to none imo.

Katsidis is a huge fan of fighting over here and loves the passion of the fans, if these huge fights like this are doing this poorly promoters needs to look at going over seas imo.
