So you aren't too bad then. Good. I checked some charts out after you said your pulse was 102 and for a person of your age it indicated that if you had a pulse rate of above 90 you should consult a mortician.

Why not check you pulse rate yourself now? I did mine last night and it was 60, and again this morning when it was a bit more worrying 70 (it should be lower in the morning). But as a smoker I think 60 is fairly good. I did a 10km run today though just incase! (10km run as a smoker is HARD!) Take it Miles, I want to know (you can probably knock a couple of beats off for being a scaredy cat like me).




If you were relaxed when you took it last night could explain the difference. If you did it everyday and logged it it would give you a better guide. Never tried this but apparently if you did monitor it everyday you can tell if you start to get sick as your pulse will go up before you feel sick...also goes up if you're overtraining.
