Good tournament, would have been better if Agbeko didn't have issues. But one shouldn't complain as King Kong is a tough fighter and things do happen in athletics.

I favor Mares ever so slightly in the final.

And Vic who finished 1-1 will not have hurt himself with his performances. He still should be in line for another big fight soon.

Perez clearly looked like the big loser and didn't look good physically in either fight. Only 32, but if my memory isn't gone he had alot of amateur fights and he has had some tough pro fights (including 2 with Agbeko, 1 with Mares, 1 with Vic).

Darchinyan is still in the mix, in a way, before he retires, i'd like to see him get another crack at Donaire, but at this point in his career, I believe Vic would get starched in a rematch. Donaire seems to be on a different level from most pugs in his weight class.

Abner Mares is like a little JMM, i've been impressed with him for awhile. When i was seeing him on undercards, i hope he wins but Joseph Agbeko is no joke and its very hard to pick a winner.
