Would have been a great fight to be at CutMeMick! I remember it was telecast on USA Tuesday Night Fights here. I remember not knowing who Paez before that night but found his story interesting and the end of that fight was dynamic!!!

Been a while fella. Hope all is well with you. I'm genuinely smiling here as I type. It's good to see your still around.

Indeed it was a fantastic fight my uncles tell me it was pandamonium. Even more so after the result was announced. People flocked the ring and did not leave the arena til about 2 hrs after fight.
I lived for several years in Mexicali which is where Paez is from. In the 2nd grade Paez's family circus came to our school. His mother, brother and I believe a sister with several uncles & aunts put on a show. We would often see him around the city in a white brand new Mitsubishi.
