Default ***Jorge Paez Jr. looses*** (Updated 4/8/07 with Video)

So Jorge Paez Jr. looses via TKO
What a fool, I mean he had the fight won and he just kept brawling and trading he was giving the people a good show and got caught.....
Well as I said when JCC Jr. got a draw, this is sometimes best when they get all this pressure off of them even if it's by a loss, what matters is that he learns from this comes back and improves.....

    Anyone else see the fight?

Alright I just found the fight on YouTube..... Here it is Enjoy!! 4/8/07

So while it is an upset, I'm not surprise it happened. I never taught much of Paez Jr. to begin with. I know your boy Violent Demise taught pretty highly of him.

Yeah I believe this is a good thing aswell. I never like it when a prospect is fighting on TV everytime out. Especially in their first 15 fights. It just puts to much pressure and expectations on a guy because they get tired of seeing him blow out prospects. Look at Amir Khan, they are calling for him to fight legit contenders now when he just isn't ready. Virgil Hunter, Andre Ward's trainer, said the best thing that ever happened to Ward was that he got knocked down and looked shaky against Boone. Now he's fighting off TV and he has improved a ton. A ton.

So while a loss isn't good, it gets Paez off TV for a bit you would think, which is probably why he kept trying to give the crowd a good show.

And no, I didn't see the fight. I think not having Telefutura anymore kills me almost as much as not having HBO.

Paez Jr. was on the Barrera-Juarez II undercard, right?
He got hit by about 20 slow left hooks in a row by an opponent who was a club fighter.

This kid is not a prospect in any way, shape, or form.

Well I still think hes the best of the Juniors as far as skill, he just got careless and had his left hand on his side throwing catuion to the wind......
The hook he guy threw was amazing.....
Paez got up and beat the count started fighting back but the ref. waived it off....

Thats what I mean even with JCC Jr. once he got that Draw people just stoped talking about him and it was as if people stopped paying soooo much attention to him and I really think it took pressure off of him thet same way I think it will happen now with Paez Jr.....

I thought he may get beat soon but I didn't think he'd get knocked out, I didn't see the magic other people did I guess. But this may be good for him, but then again someone like him knowing he can be knocked out may make him a warrior like his father, or someone who never wants to get knocked out again which could be a bad thing too(for the fanbase of bs and t fans)

I tried to jump on the Paez Jr. bandwagon but everytime I watched him fight I just could not get into him. I guess I was/am still looking for more of his fathers antics from him in the ring. I knew he would get stopped eventually. To me he is just too sloppy and a bit slow for my eyes.

that was a giant hook, i don't know what you guys are talking about but a knock out like that is no way ever a good thing nor anything that can do a bit help to a young fighter.

and that wasn't a should be win for paez if he didn't get knock out, that was a competetive fight, a better fighter won. RAmon won, to bad for paez jr.

nices hook i've seen for a while now.
