The worse Ref in all History?

wworst ref in history has got to be GEST12345, he tried to deduct 2 points for the use of the word "fuck". The ringside doctor AND Flip Homansky BOTH overruled him.

another bad call was Richard Steele when he stopped the CHavez vs Taylor fight with 2 seconds left.

Ive never been a fan of Mercante. Fact is you can't miss him in the ring so thats in indictment in and of itself. For longevity and namesake that was a bad call that night but there are shit dreadful refs in boatloads. Worst all time and grand prize winner for me was ref in Juan M Coggi vs Eder Gonzalez 1....he literally was criminal and on the take. One that sticks out also is ref in Antonio Tarver vs Harding 2. Tarver yelled and berated lost and incompetent ref to stop it after damn near killing Harding. The guy was literally having a senior moment and lost.

All that aside. Joe Cortez is king shit heel as far as refs. He is horrendous. Any knob that makes himself a point of attention "I'M fair but I'M firm" before the bell even rings needs to be brought down a peg or three.

Thats just unreal. Ref holds up the man on the ropes! lets the corner hold him up for a while too,then the round finishes way too early? Is everyone in on the $ action except for the fighter?

Why?

It would've been stopped with 2 minutes left, so why not 2 seconds? The referee doesn't have a watch (for good reason) If he considered the time, he would've been helping Taylor. Time is not a factor until the bell has rung. You can win in the 1st second or last second. Great decision by Steele!

Why?

It would've been stopped with 2 minutes left, so why not 2 seconds? The referee doesn't have a watch (for good reason) If he considered the time, he would've been helping Taylor. Time is not a factor until the bell has rung. You can win in the 1st second or last second. Great decision by Steele!

I see your point but you have to realize Taylor was on his feet standing straight. Someone must be crazy to assume Taylor couldnt fight for the last 2 seconds of the bout. And the grounds of a TKO is when a fighter is unable to continue . Taylor surely was able . Bad decision

Also the referee that held Freddie Norwood's arms behind his back while Derrick Gainer punched him in the nuts then called it a KO win for Gainer. Now that was BAD. Basically jumped Norwood.
