Even Nigel Benn who didnt have the best chin never got dropped like that by a journeyman as he was coming up and as for Eubank you would never see a reaction like that from any current super middle.

It does say that his chin isnt great. A chin doesnt improve like skills or experience do as you progres.

Look at who Ward has fought over recent years.

Miranda, Kessler, Bika, Abraham and even Green.

All those guys have a good punch especially Abraham and Miranda.

None of those guys were able to hurt or drop Ward.

Maybe Froch has the power to hurt Ward but it's not likely imo.

Ward will UD him imo. It will be a tough but clear decision win for him.

Ward wins points, too fast, too good and better boxer. Froch needs to rough up Andre like he did his mate Dirrell but see Ward as too seasoned to fall for that type of assault from Froch. I hope I am wrong because Carl deserves to be "made" for taking on the best and making it entertaining.

Hopefully Froch has been working on not allowing him to do that.

Check this out. The final round of Ward v Bika. All Ward does is feign a jab to duck in and hold. Theres one point later in the round, close to the last minute where Bika is litterally draging Ward around to try and get him off of him! He was hurt!

You mean like if this fight took place before the Super 6? I think Froch would be the favorite, but Ward would be a very live dog and that a lot of pretty knowledgeable boxing fans would pick Ward to win. Most of us didn't know a ton about him before the tourny, but I remember some posters on here being really high on Ward even then.

Not one of those guys ever cleanly hit Ward. I can't remember the round but I think Abraham connected once and Ward noticed. The reason why they didn't connect with Ward is because Ward is too slippery to hit. I'm not sure Froch can solve that puzzle.
