Not to be pedantic or anything, but you could say that of practically any competitive heavyweight fight where there's been a good discrepancy in size. If Holyfield was as big as Lewis and Bowe yet still built and able to fight the way he was he would've whipped most grizzly bears ffs.
How often have the 2 best heavyweights in the world at any one time been 30 pounds different in size? This was an exception imo. Take Holyfield's skills and give him an extra 30 pounds and he beats Bowe. A good big guy always beats a good little guy
Well I'm sure that has been the case before, but I'll give you that it is rare. My point though, was that if you take ANY good HW throughout history and "give him an extra 30 lbs", he'd be an ATG. It's next to impossible for a man the size of Bowe or Lewis to move like Holyfield or Tyson did etc. You post as though there is no advantage whatsoever to being a smaller HW. What you're arguing is really no different than my saying give Mayweather an extra 20 lbs and he'd whoop Carl Froch. Like no shit.

Joe Louis, JJ Walcott, Ezzard Charles, Don Cockell, Roland LaStaarza, Archie Moore........yeah, the word "good" usually comes to mind with them.

Yeh and Trevor Berbwick beat Muhammad Ali - does that tell us anything?

Charles, Louis and Moore were all shells of themselves by the time The Rock got to them. La Starza was Marciano's best opponent imo, and probably gave him the hardest fight too.
