The rules are same for everyone but having just one false start in the 100 metres is bullshit. Aren't we supposed to encourage world records and fast times etc..

Its TV scheduling that dictated the rule - and ultimately lost its main attraction because of it.

Well done the other guy that won it , can't even remember his name (Blake ?), but winning a gold with a time of 9.92 is hardly setting the world alight. It will be remembered as the final where the top three didn't take part.

Usain Bolt is awesome and will go onto be the second greatest sprinter of all time - but there will never be another Alan Wells and he wil always be in his shadow.
