KOs dont signify power. Ali for example sliced up many an opponent with merely sharp punches-------stoppages from cuts, or just pure exhaustion----hardly KO power punches--- and got quite a few KO wins.

Would of been a good fight for 4-5 rounds, but would end up like alot of Floyds fights after he figures you out he wins more or less every round imo Floyd stops him around the 9th. Plus at 130lbs he had more power and throw alot more combinations which made it ever harder to beat him.
Floyd probably would have won in a very entertaining fight but he would not stop Joel.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Where is VD ?
I thought surely he would come in here and weigh in as Casa was his favorite fighter.
I think Casamayor could have really troubled Mayweather.
But, its hard to pick Joel, knowing he was outboxed by Acelino Freitas.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
I too thought Casamayor won the Freitas, Corrales and Castillo fights. I think his craftyness would have made it a very game 6 rounds but like other posters I think Floyd would have made adjustments throughout the fight and win a comfortable 8 rounds to 4 decision. PBF might just be the best fighter I've ever seen at being able to adjust to his opponent during the fight add that to his multi-faceted abilities and I have a real hard time picking Joel.

apparently you need to learn a bit about boxing or actually watch Mayweather's fights, he became safety first basically from 135 onward, Floyd was plenty aggressive at 130, hell at 147 he still has better power than what most think, the thing is the guy doesn't commit to his punches, he's basically like Jones in the aspect that he COULD have ko'd a lot more of his opponents but CHOSE TO go the easy route and get a white wash win, all i ever see you post is ridiculousness![]()
More stupid shit from El Terrible Bendejo Morales here. As usual. OK let's look at the great power KOs of Mayweather at 130, asswipe. First of all, when he was 16-0, his opponents' combined records was 97-88-11. That's total shite. So its no big deal or sign of any great KO power that he knocked out most of those bums. 97-88 record. WHEN HE DOES FINALLY START FIGHTING HALFWAY DECENT FIGHTERS---Cuello, Pep, Hernandez, Rios, Gerena, Gregorio Vargas, etc..----THE KNOCKOUTS SUDDENLY DISAPPEAR AND HE'S STILL AT 130.apparently you need to learn a bit about boxing or actually watch Mayweather's fights............ the thing is the guy doesn't commit to his punches, he's basically like Jones in the aspect that he COULD have ko'd a lot more of his opponents but CHOSE TO go the easy route and get a white wash win, all i ever see you post is ridiculousness![]()
THAT is when he moves to 135/140 and then the KOs REALLY START VANISHING. He got only 3 KOs between 2002 starting with Castillo fights until he KOd Hatton in 2007. And Philip N'Dou and Henry Brussles are not what anyone would call great fighters that got knocked out.
El Terrible Morales proves himself one more time to be a horse's ASS with his posts.![]()

OP was talking about at 130 pounds. You DO realize he wasnt fighting at that weight at that point?
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Dude...have you seen mayweather fight...seriously have you? Its fuckin obvious he doesnt commit as much anymore. The more he moved up in weight the more he worried about defence since heavier guys will hit harder. He doesnt put much weight into his right hand anymore, its either a quick right hand with barely any follow through or a chopping right hand when in close.
he punched harder than your grandmother, but no where NEAR as hard as Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Earnie Shavers, Ron Lyle, Cleveland Williams, etc. So yes wise-guy, thats what Im tellng you. You thought Ali was a greatpower punching KO artist, then?
