Erics44 you MUST be joking here. OK I'll assume you are not, then. Who would have beaten Lewis?

FIRST OF ALL 2 people ALREADY DID BEAT HIM DO YOU REMEMBER BOY?? Oliver McCall is one person who WOULD HAVE beaten him as well as someone named Hasim Rahman.
But let's skip those 2 nobodies and talk about some SOMEBODIES.

Let's start with the 100% surefire losses for ol' Lummox:

    1. BIG George Foreman would have smoked Lewis in 3 rounds, any year, even in his comeback.
    2. Prime Joe Louis would have no problem with Lennox, easy UD at the very least.
    3. Cassius Clay prime would have made Lewis look the real slouch that he is.
    4. Larry Holmes would SMOKE Lewis, the stamina he had, Lewis would be huffing and puffing by the 7th, Holmes would just tee-off with that long right he loved so much.

Need I go on? Even guys like prime Cleveland Williams, or prime Tyson had a 50-60% chance to smoke him. PLLLLLLLLLLLLLLeeeeeeeeeeease.

this link is for the idiot AdamGB who thinks I got the opinion about Mav rocking Lewis frm haters and fair weather friends. Sounds like AdamGB is eating hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Note round 7 how the 200 pound light-hitting vegetarian Mavrovic really staggers Lewis with about a 12 punch combination. Yeah AdamGB, I know its tough to understand how a person can form their own opinion; you better work on that knee-jerk reaction you have that people who disagree with you must have gotten their opinion from "haters".

Mavrovic was a light-hitting heavyweight. That is not "chin-checked". Perhaps its a shave of a few whiskers. And still Lewis was hurt by those shots. My point is NO WAY does Lewis take those shots from a Foreman or a Williams or a Shavers. He did not have the best chin. Not as good as Ali or Holmes or Holyfield or Foreman or Frazier, not by a long shot.

parroting the opinion of haters who kicked a guy when he's down
Dont know what youre talking about. I dont care about others opinions. Just becasue my opinion matches closely some of these "parrots" you seem to be so familiar with, doesnt mean I am parroting them. Ever hear of people arriving at the same conclusion idependently of each other?

How many people would have stood up to one of Foreman's shots on the chin?

Nobody is saying that Lewis had a supreme chin... or that his chin was as good as Ali's... just that it wasn't 'glass'.

Don't flip flop. He can have a 'decent chin' without being as good as Ali (who had one of the best chins in history).

Shut up...Mavrovic was some Croatian punk who got schooled and never fought again......Mavrovic turned to the army rather than get in the ring again with such GREAT CHAMPION.....Lewis knew this was just a routine defence and was bored.....LEWIS went thru the motions and sealed a 12 round unanimous dec.......he had bigger fish to fry than this punk!!!

So... you're comparing one second of Lewis allegedly getting rocked (that nobody other than you seems to be noticing) to a video that is 600 seconds long of him getting punched in almost every second.

Mathematically speaking you're saying that 1 second is somehow equal to 500-600 seconds in terms of the evidence that you are basing your opinion.

1 outweighs 600?!?!... Where did you learn to count?
...and you say I'm the one who is drugs?

Find me ten minutes worth of Lewis getting rocked to cancel out the ten minutes of him NOT GETTING ROCKED BY BIG PUNCHES that I have posted and then maybe we'll give your hive mind formed, sheepletastic opinion some more credit.

How could a glass-jawed fighter be rocked "for 10 minutes"? He would be knocked cold well before 10 minutes had elapsed, dont you think? Your request is silly. 10 minutes of being rocked? Jesus, only Frazier comes to mind that he was rocked for 6 minutes straight by Foreman and kept getting up.

and there's Lewis with 12 secs left in Rd 7 doing what he does best: holding Mav around the neck with his left arm, and firing rabbit punches with the right. Funny how Lewis and Bruno, both UK fighters, really truly LOVED this tactic. Lewis knocked out many an opponent either like this, or in his other favorite manner as he knocked out Mike Grant: holding his opponent in a headlock with his left, and throwing the uppercut underneath for the KO.

0:59 the left hook definitely lights him up for a sec, you can see him buckle slightly before he fires his own left hook. Then clearly the uppercut at 0:50 takes some rib out of him and he goes back to the ropes, getting hit at 0:46 with a nice 1-2. He is clearly not in good shape in those moments. Then at 0:40 there is another nice 3 punch combo he gets hit with. Then a few more before he lands a geat counter right to back Mav off of him.

My point is Mav is a light hitter. No way does Lewis take those shots from a Foreman or a Cleveland Williams.

i can say for certain that if we were talking about a fighter you liked (or didnt dislike) those punches wouldnt have rocked him, in fact you would probably be singing his praises, saying how little affect they had
