Here we go again.... if someone doesn't just insert floyd's ball into their mouth after every victory.. then they are "haters".... yawn....
It was a bitch move... shouldn't be a surprise because he did the same thing to Gatti in the first round. What's funny is floyd is a bitch for his move yet somehow Victor isn't for the headbutt... go figure...

Ortiz was punished for his crime, JT. Floyd pretended to get cuddly with Ortiz and then knocked him out with a 1-2 whilst undefended, it was a low quality punk move that even Mayorga would have thought twice about. There was just no need for it.
Shame on Mayweather and more so if he now goes and takes another year off of decides to fight someone like Berto next.

It cracks me up that another poster will say they lost respect for Floyd, yet dosent mention Ortiz incited the whole thing my blatantly jump butting Mayweather and punching him while he was defenseless. Then people say will Ortiz got his punishment from the ref and Floyd should have happily obliged the 5 hugs and a kiss this guy kept giving him because he got caught butting and that's it. Ortiz reaction was like he was stealing something in a dark room and suddenly someone flicked on the lights and he realized 9000 live and millions at home caught him doing something wrong.
.
Also anyone who thinks Mayweather owed this kid any sportsmanship after He blatantly used his head as a weapon is beyond me. Cortez yelled Box and Floyd hit him out of anger and emotion within the rules. You may
have wanted more you might expect more out of Floyd. Why I don't know? Most of the hate comes from ones who already hate him

Ortiz intentionally headbutted Floyd, that is wrong and he was penalized for it.
When the referee restarted the fight, Floyd made every indication that he's accepting Ortiz apology, even barely touching their gloves, but suddenly dished out a sucker punch knowing that Ortiz is not yet poised to defend himself.
Isn't this Floyd the same guy who demanded for a random drug test, TO EVEN UP THE PLAYING FIELD? This isn't even a fight between two equals. That sucker punch is legal but a sneaky move done on a defenseless underdog.
Haters gonna hate. That's what they do. Money May back in the saddle again. Yeeehaaaaww!
And for the infidels: best thing is that Floyd could even change his style by going total berzerk and still win. Best of both worlds here, haterz.![]()
I've never respected Floyd as a man, but have always respected him as a fighter. I liked his style and think he has a shit load of talent. However tonight i've lost respect for him as a fighter. We all know it's "protect yourself at all times" but there are unwritten rules in boxing just as in any other sport. In baseball you throw at a batter, next inning you're getting thrown at. It's not in the rule book, but you know it's a "rule". In boxing you have these unwrittne rules as well, and i think Floyd broke one tonight. I'm pissed because it was a abrupt end to what was a competitive fight, and one i thought Ortiz was doing well in.

I was surprised to see how Victor weighted 164 pounds and Floyd barely made 150. That's quite some weight. Yet, no complains from Floyd that I know of.
