There was like 3 or 4 maybe 5 real good punches at most landed in that fight. They were all by Floyd, but to say Ortiz was out classed that bad and Floyd was that far ahead in the fight is crazy. Did you see the defense by both fighters? It was tight and near perfect by both. This was about to be not a good but a great fight. Ortiz hadnt even started to bring it yet. He was pickn his shots very nicely. Hate to see ortiz go out like that but on the other hand I hate to blame Floyd for having a fighters killer instinct. The ONLY solution is a rematch after the Pac fight.

Now I'm starting to agree with you. Floyd has to fight Pac first before he fights anyone else. But, now more than ever, he has an excuse not to fight Pacquiao. I wish the Mayweather-Ortiz fight did not do well so that there is no motivation for them to have the rematch ahead of a Pacquiao fight.

Ortiz had perfect defense? Did you not see him eating lead rights for 4 rounds straight?

I seen Floyd land about 4 or 5 decent straight rights maybe 2 or 3 of them nice and solid. The rest werent clean shots. Sounds like to many people were listening to the fake ass announcers. Watch the figth on mute.

I dont see how anyone could say ethier fighter was clearly winning that fight at all. Or look at the first (and only) 4 rounds of that fight and say Floyd was going to smash him. Even if a fighter is bloodied up and beat in four rounds there is still 8 rounds to go. Even if it was the last round ortiz still has KO power.

There needs to be a rematch sometime after the Pac fight. This fight was by far unfinished.

Watch the compubox numbers. Floyd on average connecting 15 clean shots compared to Victor's 2 or 3 punches per round.

seen the stats and they seemmed pretty padded to me. Im actually surprised someone hasnt brought that up forever ago. I think they were pumpin Floyd up bad during the fight. Floyd would throw a right and sure it may have hit Ortiz in the head but it hit his glove first. Thats not a clean shot. If we are countin those Ortiz prolly landed more than Floyd. I been waitn on someone to try tell me I dont know boxing too lol. Its not like I dont know that Floyd was prolly winnin the fight cause he of course is the only one that actually landed one of the few decent shots that were landed. Yeah Floyd may have touched him with his right a few more times than that. Floyd never put Ortiz in a corner or had him stuck on the ropes ethier. For the most part Ortiz was the aggressor, using head movement and picking his shots wisely tho he didnt land shit. Take alot of other fights, where a fighter wins pretty much just cause he was the aggressor, even tho the other fighter plays good D and dont get hit much and lands counters. It depends on the judges really. Like i I said tho even if Floyd was clearly winning the fight and Ortiz was bloody and bruised that was unfinished. And sayin that any fighter as no chance in any rematch is insane. Any fight fan should know better than to say that lol. Any fight fan should know better than to say a fight had been decided in 4 rounds of a 12 round fight. Ortiz was gonna fight till the end my friends, until the end of 12 rounds, until he got knocked out while he was lookin, while he wasnt lookin, the ref stopped the fight etc. Unfortunately it happened the way it did.

Seein Ortiz go out like that has just really got to me honestly. To see any fighter go out like would get to me. What gets to me more is I put myself in his shoes and think of the pain and anger he feels then hear what he says and I see he says class things and handles himself well even after bein sucker punched like that. Alot of fighter regardless wouldnt have the class he has shown. Then after all this people try to blame him for Floyd sucker punching him. As if he is responsible for Floyds actions in anyway at all.
