However, it does seem that he is held to a higher standard by a lot of people on here where everything he does is wrong and it irritates me to see someone effectively post that it is right for Arreola to be banned for 6 months but that Mayweather should go to prison. The only reason they (you) say that is because its Mayweather and you hate him.

I'll leave it there.
He should be in court. I still stand by that. It's not an over reaction. What if Merchant had a heart attack?

A quick google trawl, it happens all the time.

There are just a few seperate stories, all of them involved much younger than Larry Merchant.

I truly found it, and still do, absolutely sickening.

Floyd is also currently on eight seperate charges of domestic violence. If that was a normal guy in public on that many charges acting that way they absolutely would be in court.

So you think that Floyd Mayweather should be hauled up in court becasue he shouted at an 80 year old man who went on to threaten him because it might have caused the old man to have a heart attack simply because he has existing charges against him (which have not yet come to trial) and is a role model.

All this, despite the fact that

a) No crime has been committed (except perhaps by Merchant)
b) On law both sides of the Atlantic men are innocent until proven guilty
c) NOTHING ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO THE OLD MAN!!!

All I can say is: thank god you are too stupid to be a member of the judiciary in the Western world. If that is really what you think you should move to a bananna republic where there is no need for a judicial system and can just shoot people you don't like.

You are so much worse than Mayweather - you come accross like a Daily Mail reading "outraged from Tunbridge Wells" and I'm going to stay on your case now because you deserve it. You have no grace, no detachment; no recognition that you could be wrong and no excuse that it happened in the heat of the moment - unlike Mayweather. Give me him over you and your tabloid judgement any day.
Huh

I hate the tabloids actually. It's because of the media that Floyd gets a platform for this kind of shit.

He behaved disgracefully and he should be punished for it. I fully expect HBO and the whatever boxing board that sanctioned that fight to levy a heavy (by our standards, obviously not his) fine on him for his outburst.

Floyd has a long history of being a dick, just watch the recent 24/7 or any of the hundreds of videos of him on youtube threatening people or flashing his cash in his private life.

As a role model who earns hundreds of millions of pounds from the paying public he should be held accountable for his actions.
I get your point Bilbo but there is simply no such requirement. And that goes for all rich and famous people. Better not to try to make them into role models in the first place. You know many of the rich and famous mess up. For better or for worse, they should not be role models. They are simply entertainers... and human beings.
