I'm sure Emanuel has come up with a good gameplan for Cotto. If Miguel follows it... he'll beat Margacheato.

as long as the pacman beating didnt take too much out of Margo, he knocks out cotto late again..
He made em quit the first time and took his heart.. Why do you think Cotto proposed a catchweight bout? somebody isn't confident enough and having doubts.. I dont blame him though... When somebody beats your ass so severely, then somehwere in the back of your mind, you're just a little bit worried about the guy...
War Margo!!
Cause he did his time. I think Cotto is hitting harder then he was 1st time around but he'll see ghosts along the way. I think Margarito repeats it and must tko him...he has no friends moving forward.
Dude, come on. He only beat him so severely because he had loaded gloves. Cotto was winning every round in the beginning of the fight. Until the accumulated damage from loaded fists became too much. Just like every other Margarito fight before he got busted.
Since getting busted, however, every Margarito fight involves him getting his ass beat and not hurting his opponent.
It's a fucking joke to say that he has "payed a hefty price." The perverse result of this is that even though he sucks without loaded gloves, he got the biggest fight of his career after the ban -- and they were only able to sell that fight because people hate him and wanted to see him get beat up; no one in his right mind thought he had a chance of being competitive. Just look at his Hollywood hairstyle and shades these days -- he's a whole lot richer than he ever was before. He's been rewarded for cheating -- he hasn't paid any price at all.
The state of Nevada cleared Margarito's wraps. To say he had loaded gloves against Cotto is just moronic. Margarito hit Cotto with over 200 power punches. When a naturally bigger hits you that many times it's only a matter of time to the end. Margarito broke Cotto down. Nothing to do with "loaded" gloves
The state of Nevada was ready to let him go versus Mosley too until Richardson caught him, so you're not really scoring with that one. Shame on Cotto for not sending his trainer in there to watch, but you really think that was the first time? He had probably been doing it for years.

Exactly VD... It's pretty retarded to say that Margo was loaded against Cotto... There's no evidence and everybody is presumed to be innocent until proven guilty... plain and simple..
And besides, it was Margo's punch resistance and stamina that beat Cotto..
Simply put, Cotto couldn't take as much as he dished out.. That's why he lost... It's not because Margo had this massive punching power..
Margo's chin and tenacity was what took him to victory..
So all i got to say to the Rican fans is........ stop crying..
Circumstantial evidence is still evidence, and it's usually all that's available (and forms the basis for real convictions, prison terms, and huge money judgments). And we obviously have that here: he got busted in his very next fight. It's not like we're just speculating that some random fighter loaded his gloves -- the suspicion is that a guy who got busted for loading his gloves in one fight may well have done it in the previous fight.
Even if there's no hard evidence for the Cotto fight, I'm pretty shocked that anyone wants to defend this scumbag. Unless you're going to try to deny he was prepared to cheat in the Mosley fight too. I'm not buying this fight because I can't stand to support this fucker, who ought to be banned for life (which was the point of this thread, remember?).
Your arguement would hold weight if you were in the jury box but margarito isn't on trial so we can only speculate. Do you think he was loaded when he shredded Sebastian Lujan's ear off back in 2005?? If he was in fact loaded against Cotto, then we'd have to assume that he's been loading his whole career.. If that's true, the commision is at fault because how could they not have spotted this for years? What were those guys doing when Margarito's hands were being wrapped?
Personally, I dont believe he was bricked against Cotto... Ultimately, it was his punch resistance and tenacity that won him the bout...
We'll find out in a rematch..
