It's not homophobia to get annoyed by one particular lobby group always wanting special treatment and who choose to force themselves and their values on everybody else at all times.
First off, homosexuality is not a state of being it is an action, the physical act of being sexually involved with somebody of the same sex. When they are not kissing and touching each other they are just people, the same as the rest of us. In other words sexual acts and kissing passionately are things you choose to engage in, they do not define you, any more than smoking defines someone, or breastfeeding a child defines someone.
This is in stark contrast to say, being black, or being disabled, or being pregnant. These are states that cannot be altered. They do reflect who that person is, in that someone cannot stop being pregnant on a plane or stop being black. However a woman could stop breastfeeding and two people of the same sex (or any sex for that matter) can stop making out in public, the same way somebody can stop smoking or a nudist can put some clothes on.
Therefore it has nothing to do with sexuality, homophobia or anything else. It's just an example of some self important wannabe actress with a grandiose view of herself and a chip on her shoulder who wants to play the homophobe card because what she was doing was unsuitable for a public place.
It's the same with those two weird guys who met in a pub and start making out just minutes after metting and continued to do so after being asked several times to stop. When they were made to leave, did they think it might be because of the way they were behaving? No, of course not, it must have homophobia and so they went to the newspapers and then the next days thousnads of fellow gay people with the same chip on their shoulder organise a kissathon outside the pub for the attention of the nation's media.
They are total assholes.
