Steve Robinson. Mike weaver and bantamweight windmill Victor Rabanales were not exactly protecting an "0" either.
A few so-so guys named Benny leonard, Henry Armstrong and Miquel Canto among others were knocked out in first fight.

Johnny Nelson faces a lot prejudice because he bore the pants out of most fans when he fought Carlos de Leon. He probably lost millions of boxing fans after that lame effort. I for one will never forgive him and had to have counselling to recover. Fortunately Moorer v Cooper regained my faith in boxing soon after.Originally Posted by erics44
