I think so too. Haye defended his belt how many times at CW? And would be considered a near best ever? Not in a million years.
His rep will shrink over the years and so it should. He is rich though and can avoid the internet. He won in his own weird way.
A great careerist as I ALWAYS said!
Sad Sad news... now we will never get to see the Haye Vs Harrison rematch... its a dark dark day for heavyweight boxing.
Seriously thou he got alot of people to buy into his hype and made a shitload of money out of it so you have to give the guy credit.... I don't begrudge him a penny.
If he really did have a broke toe wouldn't he want a rematch? He played us all like suckers. First Harrison was going to be the next Lennox Lewis. Then Haye was going to rule the HW division. Sad day for british boxing.![]()
Yeah, just to add to the whole um thing, he should petition the hall of fame on his own behalf.
"Hello , Who?"
I never bought the hype, he could be compared to Hamed but hell that's a stretch....Haye was just a big mouth, all hat and no cattle trying to be a cowboy.
I told ya so!
