Boxing has already suffered irreparable damage, we have this recent fiasco following on closely from the Ortiz brain fade. (I'm not blaming Mayweather for that one) The Judah V Mayweather punch up in the ring was disgraceful a few years back and we have the soap opera that is the PBF V Pacman scenario (what a joke that is).
The best fights appear to be the undercards or 126lb and under. Those of us who are older remember the glory days of the 70's, 80's and 90's, Monzon and Hagler would destroy Hopkins! The last 5-6 years have been littered with dubious dealings, unsatisfactory results, boxers fighting on way to long (RJJ & SSM) and fights that resemble grappling matches more than a boxing match. Only the idiots that allowed 34 cars to race in Las Vegas last weekend have less brains than you will find in Boxing in 2011.
