    I agree with you that the hardcore boxing fans like us will bitch about this and then move on.

    BUT, the casual boxing fans and general public will def be put off by both the Mayweather and Hopkins bouts.

    Really makes boxing look like a joke and circus, not a real sport to the general public.

    But, fuck em.

    meh we still got those great fights theyre just saddly not the main event, linares demarco should have been the main event and it would have been a great night for boxing!

    No i dont think so, one bad fight well not much of a fight over this weekend,i would say i have seen 4 good fight's this weekend and that's not bad entertainment.? There are lot's of good fighter's today but when you pay ppv, to see the like's of the BH V CD fight that was a main event that was How much was that fight ppv may i ask?

    It's true. I am too often an apologist. It says something that Hopkins and Mayweather are two of the biggest names in boxing and yet their fights are the dissappointing ones. Maybe we need new big names?
