No. I seriously thought UB40 was the name of a black American singer. I'm only familiar with 'Red Red Wine', but still...

I'm trying to think who this happened to me with...

I think it was Player - Baby Comeback.
I figured it was a black guy singing.
Turns out it was a band and they were all white...

I had the same thing happen with Chicago. I thought they were a cool group of black r&b musicians and they turn out to be a bunch of cracker-assed soft-rockers. Heartbreaking.

I still like Chicago though.
